Adam Halpern

Founder & President

Adam Halpern founded Help U to activate high school students to realize their goals in pursuit of their athletic and academic dreams. Adam utilizes professional skill development and character building techniques to maximize student potential; this process helps students acquire the necessary skills for their academic and professional careers.

Adam developed Help U after years of experience in both collegiate and professional sports. Adam grew up in the beautiful ski town of Angel Fire, New Mexico, where he was a State Track Champion and valuable member of the varsity boys basketball and track teams at Cimmaron High School. Adam recieved a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training Education from New Mexico State University, and a Masters of Arts in Human Performance from San Jose State University.

Adam served as an Athletic Trainer at Las Cruces High School, New Mexico State University, the University of New Hampshire, and Stanford University. These experiences introduced Adam to world-class, elite athletes and Olympians. Adam also traveled the world as he worked with professional athletes as part of the U.S. Ski Team staff.

By working with world-class athletes, Adam learned the principles and tools that are most important to achieving athletic success at the highest level. Adam implements these fundamental practices in the Help U program.

Help U is founded on the principles of compassion, understanding, sincerity and achievement. Our overall goal is to assist high school student athletes with college recruitment, application and selection processes, while maximizing their potential for future endeavors.

Chief Operating Officer

Briar grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, with a background in a myriad of sports. Briar was a nationally recognized equestrian, and high school state champion field hockey player with both state and national honors. Briar was also captain and MVP of her high school track team. Unfortunately, nagging injuries prevented Briar from actively competing at the collegiate level.

Briar attended the University of Colorado, Boulder, where she graduated with a degree in Political Science. She also highly emphasized fitness with studies in nutrition and kinesiology; Briar has been a certified Fitness Instructor since age 16, and taught other instructor-hopefuls how to teach as an assistant to director of the group exercise program at CU.

While in college, Briar entered the world of sports marketing as campus marketing director for Clif Bar, where she planned and implemented sports sponsorship programs for the world- renowned energy product company. Upon graduation from CU, Briar became a sports marketing executive for Sports-Entco, where she traveled the world working for Fortune 500 clients, with their professional and Olympic athlete sponsorees.

Briar's involvement with Help U began at its inception in 2005. Briar brings her knowledge of the professional sports world to ensure that Help U conforms to standards for serious athletes.
