Parents benefit enormously from Help U's services. As Help U focuses on giving students the tools they need to create the best possible package to present to prospective colleges, Help U also works with parents to help them achieve the best efforts and results from their children.

  • Meetings: Parents play a major role in the Help U process, starting with the initial consultation. Help U will explain how to effectively encourage and motivate your child to actively participate and take responsibility in their college preparation and selection processes. Help U consults with parents on the financial aspects of college, and assists with any other questions parents may have.

  • Bridging the Gap: Help U facilitates communication between the student, their coaches, college counselors and parents. With so many parties interested in the student's future, we can help you bring all facets of involvement together. Help U eliminates the communication barrier between all parties because our sole focus is on the athletic, academic and personal success of your child.
  • Authority Figures: As we all remember from our teenage years, it is often most beneficial for teens to hear advice from an authority figure outside their families. Help U acts as authority figures for students to confide in, respect, and admire. This is a major asset for familes whose children may resist college advice that comes directly from Mom or Dad.
  • Research: Help U provides the valuable element of research to parents regarding the college matriculation process. While many athletes' parents are simply too busy between their jobs and catching their children in action at sporting events, that little time is left to research the financial end of secondary education. The "business" end of college selection can be tricky; between the FAFSA, Student Loan information, dorm costs, meal plans, decisions on student insurance plans, etc, the list of areas to reseach is seemingly endless! Help U removes the guesswork, and provides parents with the black and white information they need to make effective financial plans.
